Lusi was on her way home. Her heart was in turmoil after hearing that her mother was dying. Over the phone, her doctor informed her that her mother would probably “go” in a few hours.
To reach her city, there are no direct flights. Lusi must transit at one airport and change planes. Because of the time constraint, she chose the shortest transit time. So Lusi only has half an hour to transit.
In the midst of her haste, Lusi instead got another trial. Due to bad weather, her plane could not land on time. Lusi tried to calm down. She started to look at her watch. Five minutes had passed from landing time, ten minutes had passed…
Lusi began to sob as she realized that she would not be able to land on time. Lusi would not be able to catch the next plane as planned. How heartbroken she was to realize that she would not be able to accompany her mother in her final moments.
In the midst of her anxiety, a flight attendant realized that something was wrong with Lusi. She approached her and asked about Lusi's condition. At first, Lusi could only cry. The flight attendant patiently sat next to Lusi. Lusi told her about the problem she was facing. The flight attendant showed her sympathy and soon after went to the back of the plane.
Five minutes later, Lusi finally managed to land. As soon as she stepped out of the plane door, Lusi was picked up by one of the airport officers and half “dragged” Lusi. Lusi became very confused.
While running, the airport officer said that one of the flight attendants on the previous plane contacted the ground staff and told them what happened. The ground staff then coordinated with the crew of the next flight. Long story short, they decided to delay the departure of the next flight for ten minutes for Lusi. All the ticket administration processes had been taken care of. Lusi just needed to run as fast as possible to the plane.
Lusi's heart was deeply touched. She was deeply moved because the crew took action quickly and very bravely.
